Letter from the founders, sent on 03/15/2020:


On behalf of Elk River Soap Company, I wanted to send a personal note to you to let you know how we are responding to the circumstances surrounding COVID-19. 




Like all of you, we are concerned and want to do what we can to help keep our customers, employees, and our families safe and healthy. From the onset of this situation, we have been listening to the appropriate sources for accurate and up to date information. As things evolve, we are actively monitoring the situation. 




At Elk River Soap Company, we have always followed GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) regulations to minimize or eliminate contamination or errors in our manufacturing process. Our employees follow all FDA regulations in regards to protective gear, such as gloves, masks, hairnets, safety glasses, etc. We also make sure that all employees are free of any symptoms of contagious illness. Since our facility is not open to the public, we are able to ensure that our facility is clean and sanitary to the best of our abilities. We will continue to monitor and follow the FDA and CDC regulations in regards to sanitizing and cleanliness. 


As of right now, our current supply has not been affected by COVID-19. However, we will keep you updated if this changes. 


We will continue to do our very best to turn around orders and do not foresee any delay in shipping or the fulfillment of your orders.  In the event this status changes, we are prepared to work through it and will let you know right away.  Our customer service team is standing by at info@elkriversoapcompany.com.
